MSI Creator Z16 offers a mini LED Keyboard and lots of Power in a Stylish case

With the Creator Z16, MSI has presented an exciting ultrabook that not only offers decent performance with Intel Tiger Lake-H and Nvidia GeForce rtx™ 3060, with a 16-inch QHD display in 16:10 format and a new type of mini-LED The keyboard also offers exciting features.

While the new MSI Creator 17 relies on a high-quality 4K mini-LED display, the mini-LEDs on the Creator Z16 are located in a different place: MSI does not install the small light-emitting diodes in the display, but in the keyboard, so that the keyboard illumination has up to 28 percent higher brightness, 23 percent lower power consumption and RGB lighting that can be controlled individually for each key.

The display is still impressive: The MSI Creator Z16 offers a 16-inch, 120 Hz fast touchscreen in 16:10 format with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels and a maximum brightness of 400 nits that can support the DCI-P3 color space can be displayed in full. In addition, MSI promises top-class performance, especially thanks to Intel’s brand new Tiger Lake H processors.

Buyers can choose between the Core i7-11800H with eight cores, 16 threads, and clock frequencies of up to 4.6 GHz and the Core i9-11900H with clock speeds of up to 4.9 GHz. There is also an Nvidia GeForce rtx™ 3060 laptop GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 graphics memory, up to 64 GB DDR4-3,200 RAM, up to two PCIe 4.0 x4 M.2 SSDs, Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.2.

The 15.9 millimeters thin and 2.2 kilogram light notebook has a 90 Wh battery that is charged with a 180-watt power supply. The MSI Creator Z16 has two Thunderbolt 4 (USB-C), two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, a headphone jack, and a microSD card reader. MSI installed four speakers and a 720p infrared webcam.
