MSI has launched two new 2K WQHD gaming monitors that differ primarily in terms of ergonomics. The 1500 R curved models MSI 27CQ6PF and 27CQ6F measure 27 inches diagonally, have a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels (WQHD 21K) at up to 180 Hz and offer a high contrast value of 5000:1 thanks to Rapid VA technology. In addition, a 0.5 ms fast gray change is promised.
According to the specs, you can expect 300 cd/m² typical brightness, 10-bit color depth ( 8 bit + FRC ), 105 percent sRGB, and 80 percent Adobe RGB and DCI-P3. Adaptive Sync technology, which prevents screen tearing, is featured, though it’s unclear if this includes FreeSync or G-Sync compatibility. This 27″ 1440p monitor offers HDR support, a smart crosshair overlay, an Optix scope, and an AI-powered black stabilizer.

The interfaces include two HDMI 2.0b inputs, which support WQHD at up to 144 Hz, as well as a DisplayPort 1.4 for WQHD at up to 180 Hz. Additionally, there is a headphone output. Furthermore, MSI 27 Quad HD 180Hz monitors feature tilt adjustment, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), a flicker-reduced backlight, and blue light filtering. The 27CQ6PF also has height adjustment and rotation, making it the more ergonomic version, and has a different stand design.
