A confirmation in this sense comes directly from Geekbench, the well-known benchmark portal where the device has left the track of its own passage in the last hours. As can be seen directly from the dedicated page, Motorola Moto G5 – codenamed XT1670 – appears characterized by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC (MSM8937), 2GB of RAM and, precisely running Android 8.1 Oreo software version.
In the same benchmark, the device achieved a score of 674 points in Single-Core mode and 1910 points in Multi-Core mode. No information is currently available regarding the possible release date of the update. It is very probable, however, that the same update can arrive in the next few weeks, is already tested on board some device.
