Lenovo has officially unveiled the Moto Z2 Play smartphone with Moto Mods support, Moto Voice Assistant and running latest Android 7.1 Nougat OS out-of-the-box. Lenovo Moto Z2 Play is a good device now comes with a metal uni-body design, priced at $499 and will go on sale this Summer in Lunar Gray, Nimbus Blue, and Fine Gold colors.

Lenovo Moto Z2 Play features a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) resolution that can translate a pixel density of 401ppi and screen is also protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The handset is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor backed by Snapdragon 626 SoC clubbed with Adreno 506 GPU. It comes in two memory options – 3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage. There’s also support for microSD card slot for further expansion up to 2TB.

For connectivity, the device includes 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n (2.4GHz and 5GHz), NFC, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2, USB Type-C (3.1), a 3.5mm headphone jack, and FM radio. It packs a 3000mAh battery with TurboPower charger provides 50 percent charge in just 30 minutes, and the battery is rated to deliver up to 30 hours of mixed usage. For sensors, includes accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor. It measures 156.2 x 76.2 x 5.99 mm and weighs 145 grams.

There is also 3490mAh Turbo Power Pack Moto Mod with fast charging support, comes with up to 30W TurboPower and is rated to charge up to 50 percent in just 20 minutes. It adds almost a day’s worth of power on the smartphone, weighs 95 grams and priced at $79.99.
Lenovo also announced a Wireless Charging Style Shell has been priced at $39.99; the JBL SoundBoost 2 Moto Mod with a kickstand, and is splash proof is priced at $79.99 and come in black, red, and blue color options. New Moto GamePad that will work with all games that support physical controllers. Instead of connecting to your smartphone via Bluetooth, it will use the Moto Mods connector and comes with a 1000mAh battery that can power the GamePad for up to 8 hours. The Moto GamePad features a USB Type-C port for charging and a 3.5mm headphone jack, it is priced at $79.99.
