Motorola Moto G82 5G with 120 Hz AMOLED and 50 MP triple camera with OIS

With the Moto G82 5G, Motorola has introduced a new mid-range 5G smartphone. Among other things, the handset is equipped with a 120 Hz fast AMOLED display and a 50 MP triple camera with OIS.

After the Moto G52 (approx. $306 / £269) went on sale in USA and UK a few days ago, Motorola’s next smartphone model is now available.

5G connectivity with dual SIM operation is, as the name suggests, thanks to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 5G. The device measuring 160.89 x 7.99 x 74.46 mm and weighing 173 g uses Bluetooth 5.1, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, and NFC, among other things. In addition to stereo speakers, there are also two microphones and a 3.5mm headset jack. Android 12 is used as the operating system.

The front of the Motorola Moto G82 5G is adorned with a 6.6-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution (2400×1080 pixels) and a pixel density of 402 PPI. The refresh rate is 120 Hz. The 16 MP front camera, which is also used for face unlock as an alternative to the fingerprint sensor on the side, sits in a small punch hole.

Motorola installed a triple cam on the back, consisting of a 50 MP main camera (f/1.8) with OIS, 8 MP wide-angle/depth sensor (f/2.2) with a 118-degree field of view and quick focus, and 2 MP macro (f/2.4). In addition, there is a 5,000 mAh battery with a charging speed of 30 watts in the IP52-protected housing.

Price and availability

The new Motorola Moto G82 5G Unlocked International Version can now be ordered from the Amazon.com, Newegg.com, and Amazon.co.uk online stores. The suggested retail price is $399. The Moto G82 5G is available in two colors, Meteorite Gray and White Lily, and only in a memory configuration with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage space. The latter can be expanded by up to 1 TB via a microSD memory card.
