As expected, the Moto G6 Plus smartphone has been officially announced in India. The form factor closely resembles the Moto X4 and therefore we have a dual rear camera set in a circular base which is very pleasant to the eye and certainly original. Qualitatively, the build quality is significantly better than last year’s model given the adoption of glass with the 3D curvature in the back.

Moto G6 Plus price in India has been set at Rs. 22,499 for the 6GB RAM with 64GB storage and is now available exclusively on Amazon.in store. The handset will only come in Indigo Black color.

The Moto G6 Plus features a 5.93-inch IPS LCD display with Full HD+ (2160 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 18:9 aspect ratio and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 508 GPU and 6GB of RAM. It packs a 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the G6 Plus flaunts a 12-megapixel rear camera with Dual Autofocus Pixel technology, f/1.7 aperture, 1.4um pixel size, LED Flash along with a secondary 5-megapixel camera for portrait shots. For selfie, it has a 16-megapixel front camera with LED flash and 4MP adaptive low light mode. The handset also has a water-repellent coating that protects it from water splashes or light rain and also has 3D scratch-resistant Corning Gorilla Glass protection at the back.
The Moto G6 Plus has a fingerprint sensor on the front and also comes with Moto Display, Moto Voice, Moto Actions and other usual sets of Moto features. The handset runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and packs a 3200mAh battery with Turbo charging those promises hours of battery life after just a few minutes of charging.
For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5 LE, NF, and USB C. It supports hybrid SIM slot with dual standby along with 3.5mm audio jack, FM Radio, Front-ported loud speaker, Dolby Audio, and 3 mics. The device measures 160 x 75.5 x 8.0mm and weighs 167 grams.
