Mortal Kombat 11 Beta will only be available on PS4 and Xbox One

The Mortal Kombat 11 beta will only be available on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One: PC and Nintendo Switch users will not be able to take part in the beta version, although access to the beta is one of the pre-order bonuses.

Mortal Kombat 11

On the occasion of the presentation of the expected Mortal Kombat 11, NetherRealm Studio not only communicated the beta start date but also announced that access would be a reservation bonus, suggesting that the beta version would be available on all platforms. From the official Mortal Kombat 11 FAQ page, however, it is specified that the beta will only be released on Sony and Microsoft consoles with support for PlayStation 4 Pro and Xbox One X.

At the moment, NetherRealm Studio has not motivated the choice not to make the Mortal Kombat 11 beta available on Nintendo Switch and PC. However, remember that to access the beta, the pre-order bonus also includes the extra Shao Khan character.

The beta version of Mortal Kombat 11 will be available from March 28, while the full game will be released on April 23, the day in which the unmissable Collector’s Edition will also debut which will include a replica of the mask worn by the iconic Scorpion.
