Monster Hunter World to Be Pre-orders for PS4 and Xbox One

At the Sony’s E3 2017 conference, Capcom unveiled the Monster Hunter World and was seemed that the game will be dedicated exclusively to PlayStation 4, but its online listing on the Amazon store has confirmed that the game will also be available for Xbox One and PC.

The online listing also revealed the Monster Hunter World release date is set for March 31, 2018, and its pricing $59.99 in US and £69.99 in UK. The game should still arrive on gaming consoles and PC, no further confirmation on a Nintendo Switch version. Specific agreements between Sony and Capcom, however, will offer exclusive content to buyers of the PlayStation 4 version.

The title is Action RPG that will also be addressed in online gameplay with up to three players. An online drop-in multiplayer system which allows cross-region cooperative play between Japan and the West, uniting the global player base for the first time ever.

Players and monsters can move from one map area to another freely and without loading screens whilst gameplay also dynamically transitions between night and day. Taking on the role of a hunter, players are tasked with going on a research expedition to a newly discovered continent known only as “new world” as they venture on quests to discover more about this mysterious land. Defeat monsters and collect loot from fallen foes to craft equipment and weapons styled after the monsters that have been slain. Selecting the right loadout can help exploit enemy weaknesses to gain an advantage in battle.
