The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 2 (REVIEW) introduced in 2020 (approx. $200 / £222 on Amazon) has received a successor that relies on a brand new design. The Sennheiser Momentum 3 remains with German-made drivers with a diameter of 7 millimeters, and the sound can be adjusted to one’s own wishes via the associated app. According to Sennheiser, in ear headphones can reproduce frequencies from 5 Hz to 21 kHz.
One of the highlights of the Sennheiser Momentum 3 Wireless is the adaptive noise cancellation (ANC), which can automatically adapt to the environment. The two earbuds have a total of six microphones, which should enable a significantly better voice quality than the previous model. The battery lasts seven hours, and the charging case stores enough energy for three full charges. What is new is that the USB-C connector is now on the front of the charging case and that the new model can also be charged wirelessly.
The connection to the smartphone is via Bluetooth 5.2. While iPhone users will have to settle for AAC, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive is also available for compatible Android smartphone users. With this advanced codec, the latency can be reduced on the one hand, and on the other hand, better quality is made possible. An IPX4 certification promises protection against rain and sweat.

The Sennheiser Momentum True Wireless 3 can now be pre-ordered on the Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk websites for $249.95 / £219.99, with delivery starting on May 10th. The in ear headphones are available in black, gray, and white colors.
Last week, Sennheiser introduced the Sport True Wireless earbuds are specifically aimed at athletes and intended to score points with the Adaptable Acoustic function, up to 27 hours of battery life, and cost $149.95 / £119.99.
