Korg Minilogue Bass Limited Edition Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer announced

Minilogue Bass is not a new analog synthesizer from hardware and software developer Korg. Except for the darker coloring and the graphic gimmicks on the surface of the hardware, the sound generator looks like a luxury version or a designer edition of the popular polyphonic music synthesizer. The only new features are the preset sounds created by well-known sound designers for this series, which should take care of the bass.

Korg Minilogue Bass Limited Edition Polyphonic Analog Synthesizer

The new look of the Korg Minilogue Bass is styling and more appealing than the original version. The black and red keys of the keyboard alone look classy and, of course, also unusual – who owns keyboards with such a color scheme?

Sound, connections, technology, and sound generation correspond to the well-known and popular minilogue synthesizer (not the Minilogue XD and, therefore, no additional digital multi-oscillator, no additional effects, and no extended sequencer). The minilogue bass is a four-voice polyphonic analog synthesizer. It comes with two VCOs, filters, two envelope generators, VCA, and LFO. There are also eight play modes (including polyphonic, duophonic, chord, and arp modes) and a 16-step sequencer.

The dimensions are 500 x 300 x 85 mm (width x depth x height) with a weight of 2.8 kg. An external power pack (9 V, DC) is included in the delivery. On the connection side, the four-part polyphonic synthesizer via a headphone output (6.3 mm jack socket (stereo), audio output (6.3 mm jack socket (mono), audio input (6.3 mm jack socket (mono), Sync In and Out (each 3.5 mm mini jack socket (mono)), DIN MIDI In and Out and USB Type B. An OLED display shows you a real-time oscilloscope for visual feedback on parameter changes.

Korg Minilogue Bass Limited Edition price and release date

You can pre-order the Korg Minilogue Bass at Bhphotovideo.com for $579.99. The analog synth is only available in a limited edition and will only be delivered in a few weeks.
