At the end of this month, Fujifilm will begin selling the Instax Mini 40 Instant Film Camera. The main feature of the mini Instax Fujifilm camera is the original body made in retro style.
Dimensions are 104 × 121 × 65 mm, weight is approximately 330 grams without batteries and accessories. The Instax camera mini received a two-component lens ( f = 60 mm), as well as a real-image viewfinder with a focusing point. An electronic shutter with program control is used (1 / 2–1 / 250 s).
Fujifilm Instax Mini photo paper is used to print images. The size of still images is 62 × 46 mm, and it takes about 90 seconds to fully develop (depending on the ambient temperature).
The mini Instax camera is powered by two AA batteries. There is a small mirror for taking self-portraits; in addition, a continuously firing flash with automatic brightness control is provided.
