Microsoft Modern Keyboard with Fingerprint ID, Wireless Announced

Microsoft has released a new keyboard to replace the Surface Keyboard from late last year called Modern Keyboard with an integrated fingerprint sensor. The design of the new Microsoft Modern Keyboard is no different than the old one, except for the fingerprint sensor and optional wire connection.

The new Modern Keyboard has full numeric keypad design, which is no different than the old Surface keyboard. However, a fingerprint sensor has been integrated into the Windows button on this keyboard to add security measures to the user. This sensor is placed on the second Windows button on the right, It can be used to login to Windows 10 or web site with Windows Hello support. In addition to Windows 10, the fingerprint sensor is also compatible with macOS and Android.

This is a wireless keyboard, but the user can also connect the wires to the computer. Microsoft Modern Keyboard price is $129. Compared to $99 Surface Keyboard of the same size, you have to pay $30 more for the fingerprint sensor.
