Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 with 5 inch Display and Octa-core CPU Launched in India

Not too long ago, Micromax launched its Canvas series Selfie -based Smartphone, the Micromax Canvas Selfie in the Indian market. Now, we have another Smartphone in Canvas line called Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 officially unveiled in India with a price tag of Rs. 5,999 – approximately $93.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 is exclusively available on the Flipkart online shop via Flash sale and the first sale will be on 4th August next month at 2pm. User can part in Flash sales via a registration method which will start on 3d August at 6pm morning.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 is a Dual-SIM 3G smartphone runs Android 4.4.2 KitKat OS, but will soon be updated to latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. It is sports 5.0-inch IPS display with HD resolution of 720×1280 pixels and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The phone is powered by a 1.4GHz Octa-core processor, MediaTek MT6592M SoC with 1GB of RAM.The Canvas Xpress 2 features a 13-megapixel rear camera with Dual-LED flash, autofocus, OV sensor, 5P Lens and Blue Glass filter, while there a 2-megapixel front-facing camera to capture wonderful Selfies. It packs an 8GB of internal memory which further expandable via MicroSD card up to 32GB.

The Micromax Canvas Xpress 2 is backed up by a 2500mAh battery which can deliver up to 393 hours of standby time and up to 9 hours of talk time according the company. It also comes with a Cirrus Logic Wolfson Stereo DAC Sound chip for loud and clear music.
