Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 with 4G LTE and 2GB RAM Launched in India

Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 has been quietly launched in India. It is the latest budget smartphone from the company in the Canvas series. It supports dual SIM 4G LTE and Octa-core processor that should be enough to attract more users. Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 price in India sets to Rs. 7,499 and can be purchased via Flipkart store. The Micromax Canvas Amaze 2 features a 5.0-inch IPS display with HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution, along with 16 million pixels and also protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz octa-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 415 chipset clubbed with Adreno 405 GPU. The device packs in 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable up to 32GB with the help of microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the Canvas Amaze 2 flaunts a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with dual LED flash. It shoots Full HD 1080p videos at 30fps. There is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with HD recording to capture wide group selfies and high quality video chatting. The handset also equipped with built-in apps such as App Center, Chaatz, Clean Master, hotstar, Housing, NewsHunt, Quikr, Scandid, Swift Key, Saavn.

This latest Micromax Mobile Phone runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop and packs in 2500mAh battery is rated to deliver up to 8 hours of talk-time and up to 273 hours of standby time. For connectivity, includes 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, USB 2.0, OTG, 3.5 mm audio jack and FM Radio as connectivity options.

Last month, Micromax India announced Bolt Selfie smartphone with 5MP rear and front-facing camera and LTE connectivity, priced at Rs. 4,999.

The Micromax Bolt Selfie features a 4.5-inch FWVGA display; a 1.0 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735 64-bit processor; Mali-T720 GPU; 1GB of RAM; 8GB of internal storage; runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop OS and a 1750mAh battery out of the box.
