Meizu M3 with 13MP Camera and 3GB RAM Launched

Meizu continues to expand their Budget smartphones line up by launching new Meizu M3 in China. After announcing the Meizu M3 Note and Pro 6 in China early this month, now Meizu M3, a new affordable handset has been officially launched in China today, as expected. It is successor for the Meizu M2 was introduced in India last year.
The Meizu M3 is available in Gold, White, Grey, Blue and Pink color variants and has been priced at 599 Yuan – approximately $92 USD for 2GB RAM/16GB ROM model and 799 Yuan – approximately $122 USD for 3GB RAM/32GB ROM model and will go on sale soon in China.

The Meizu M3 features a 5.0-inch 2.5D curved Glass HD (720 x 1280 pixels) display with polycarbonate body and CNC finishing for better one hand grip. It is powered by MediaTek MT6750 octa-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz clubbed with Mali-T860 GPU. It comes in two different options including 2GB RAM with 16GB of native storage and 3GB of RAM with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

On the imaging capabilities, M3 bears a 13- megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF for fast focusing speed up to 0.2 seconds and LED flash, which is capable of shooting HD videos. On the front, it comes with a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and fotonation 2.0 for better selfie and video calling. The handset also has the mBack home button, but without any mTouch fingerprint reader.
Meizu M3 runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with the latest Flyme 5.1 OS powered by YunOS with custom battery optimization features. It houses a 2870mAh battery under the hood which should be good enough for a day. For connectivity, includes dual SIM 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, MicroUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack. It measures 141.5 x 69.5 x 8.3 mm and weighs 132 grams.
