As expected, the Meizu on Wednesday unveiled its new smartphone E2. The overall design concept is the same: metal case, rounded edges, strip antenna bands. However, the Chinese company still dares few experiments. So, the Meizu E2 camera in the upper left corner, and next to it was placed 4 dual-tone LED flash completely in the new format. It consists of 4-LED dual-tone flash arranged in the antenna bands that promises bright and clear images even in poor lighting conditions.
Meizu E2 Specifications
The Meizu E2 features a 5.5-inch IPS LCD display with 450cd / m² brightness and Full HD (1920 x 108 pixels) resolution and 1000: 1 contrast ratio. It is powered by a 2.3 GHz octa-core processor which supported by MediaTek Helio P20 16nm chipset paired with ARM Mali T880 GPU. It packs in 3GB LPDDR4X of RAM with 32GB storage, and 4GB LPDDR4X of RAM with 64GB internal storage, which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the E2 flaunts a 13-megapixel primary autofocus camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF and 4-LED dual tone Flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture and 1.4μm pixel size to capture wonderful self-portraits and quality video calling. The E2 also comes equipped with mTouch fingerprint sensor embedded into the home button to unlock the device in just 0.2 seconds.
The handset runs on Flyme 6.0 based on YunOS out of the box. It packs a 3400mAh battery with fast charging that is claimed to charge E2 up to 40% in just 30 minutes. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.2 LE, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options.
Meizu E2 Price and Availability
Meizu E2 price is about CNY 1299 – approximately $188 for 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and CNY 1599 – approximately $230 for 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM variants and it is available for booking from today and goes on sale from 29, April in Black, Moonlight Silver and Champagne Gold color options.
