Meizu 16s has been officially launched in China. It is a flagship device from the Chinese manufacturer comes with a 6.2-inch Super AMOLED display, up to 8GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and an in-display fingerprint sensor.
Meizu 16s Price and Availability
The Meizu 16s price in China starts from CNY 3,398 – approximately $505 for the 4GB RAM with 128GB storage version, CNY 3,698 – approximately $550 for the 8GB RAM with 128GB storage model and the 8GB RAM with 256GB storage version costs CNY 4,198 – approximately $624. The device will go on sale in China starting from April 28th and comes in White, Carbon Black, and Phantom Blue color options.
Meizu 16s Specifications
The Meizu 16s features a 6.26-inch Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ (1080 x 2232 pixels) resolution, and 18.6:9 aspect ratio, 500 nits brightness, 4.2mm ultra narrow bottom bezel, and 91.53% screen-to-body ratio. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 octa-core processor which supported by Adreno 640 GPU and 6GB / 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) internal storage.
On the camera front, the 16s bears a 48-megapixel rear camera with 1/2.25″ Sony IMX586 sensor, OIS, night mode, 0.8um pixel size with ring LED flash, along with a 20-megapixel secondary telephoto lens with Sony IMX350 sensor. For selfie, there is a 20-megapixel camera on the front for 0.2-second face unlock, with Samsung 3T2 sensor and AI beauty features. The handset supports Hyper Gaming, runs Flyme OS 8 based Android Pie with One Mind 3.0 AI.
The Meizu 16s has an in-display fingerprint scanner, stereo speakers, and the built-in mEngine 3.0 offer more real and delicate vibration effect as well as 4D gaming experience with real-time recognition of the game scene that vibrates the phone to intelligent match the scenes. It packs a 3600mAh battery with support for 24W mCharge fast charging. For connectivity includes Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz) 4×4 MIMO, Bluetooth 5, GPS (L1 + L5 dual band), USB Type-C. The device measures 151.9×73.4×7.65mm and weigh 165 grams.
