Meike has released a new autofocus portrait lens for full-frame mirrorless cameras from Sony, Nikon, and L-mount: Meike 85mm F1.8 Pro. It has a compact form factor, advanced optical design, and a 9-blade aperture. At the same time, the new lens weighs only 389 grams.

The new Meike optics have two control rings: focusing and aperture. The minimum focusing distance is 0.85 meters, and a switch for the focusing system modes (manual/automatic) is on the side of the body.
Eye AF performs exceptionally well, even from a distance. The 85mm f/1.8 Pro portrait lens captures high-quality pictures with a smooth background blur, delivering impressive results even in low-light settings.
The optics are designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras but can also be used with APS-C cameras of the corresponding bayonet mounts.
The optical design of the Meike 85mm F1.8 Pro is as follows: 11 elements in 8 groups.
An AF STM stepping motor minimizes camera shake, ensuring sharp images with reduced noise. It supports 8K image capture with zero distortion and focus breathing, making it ideal for photography and video shooting.
