McIntosh MA9000 Integrated Amplifier With DA1, Monogrammed Heatsinks Launched

McIntosh has unveiled MA9000 Integrated Amplifier, most impressive in terms of both design and for the power output. The dimensions are 44.5 x 24 x 55.88 cm with a weight of 45.8 kg. McIntosh MA9000 is offering 300 Watts per channel and combines our amplifier and preamplifier expertise into one comprehensive unit. McIntosh audio also guarantees that the MA9000 will always receive that full 300W regardless if they have 2, 4 or 8 Ohm impedance.

One of the particular power of the MA9000 is its module, the McIntosh Amplifier is supplied with the new DA1 Digital Audio Module; which can be easily replaced by future modules to keep your MA9000 up to date as new digital audio formats and technologies are developed.

The module includes an 8-channel, 32-bit Digital-to-Analog Converter (DAC) used in Quad Balanced mode. The coax and optical inputs will decode music up to 24-bit/192kHz for high-resolution audio playback; the USB input accepts even higher PCM signals up to 32-bit/384kHz and supports up to DSD256 and DXD 384kHz.

MA9000 integrates a High Drive headphone amplifier with Headphone Crossfeed Director technology (HXD), which can bring an added dimension to headphone listening. There are also new McIntosh Monogrammed Heatsinks to dissipate heat better and is equipped with Home Theater PassThru for easier integration with home entertainment system.

The MA9000 price is set at $10,500 and will available in the country this month.
