Martin Logan Motion i Series Speakers now Available on Amazon, Starting at $399

The new Martin Logan speaker series from the Motion i line is available to buy via Amazon in US market. The new Martin Logan speaker lineup uses the Folded Motion tweeter in the 26 x 36 mm or 32 x 61 mm versions. The midrange and woofers have been renewed and are now equipped with an aluminum cone and a concave central dust shield. This element strengthens the rigidity and reduces the “break-up” phenomena (irregularity in the frequency response).

The woofers have also been placed in the lower part of the cabinet, closer to the floor to avoid the interferences that can be created when these components, placed too high, overlap their own emission and that of the tweeters or midrange. The Motion 60XTi and Motion 50XTi models have also been internally reinforced to make the cabinet even more inert to vibrations and internal pressures.

The changes have finally concerned the protection grids, now made of canvas with magnetic attachment and the Martin Logan logo in metal with a different color based on the finish chosen for the diffuser; Gunmetal if the diffuser is black, Champagne with cherry and Silver on white.

The Motion i series is composed of 9 models, all bass-reflex with rear emission. Motion 15i and Motion 35XTi are bookshelf speakers while Motion 20i, Motion 40i and Motion 60XTi are floor-standing speakers. Then we have Motion 30i and Motion 50XTi as well.

The colors available are black or white lacquered and cherry (not all options are present on each model). Below is a summary of the technical features and list prices:
