With the Emberton, Marshall has introduced one of its portable speaker with Bluetooth 5.0 to date. Despite its compact dimensions, the wireless speaker offers an impressive battery life of 20 hours, robust and waterproof housing, and 360 degrees sound.
Marshall has long been known for its stylish speakers, and the latest waterproof speaker model is no exception. The housing measures just 16 x 7.6 x 6.8 centimeters with a weight of 700 grams. Despite the compact dimensions, Marshall has space for two 2-inch 10-watt speakers and two passive radiators, which together ensure a rich, clear, and up to to provide 87 dB loud sound.
With the True Stereophonic technology, the manufacturer promises better sound, 360 degrees around the Bluetooth wireless speaker. The housing is also certified according to IPX7 and therefore is waterproof, even a fall into the pool shouldn’t harm the little one. Another highlight is the battery, which should allow a playing time of over 20 hours, a charge via USB-C takes around three hours, but a 20-minute charge is enough for five hours of music playback.
The connection with the smartphone is via Bluetooth 5.0. To control it, there is a control element on the top with which the Emberton can be switched on and off, the button can also regulate the volume and skip songs.

The Marshall Emberton Portable speaker can now be purchased on the Bhphotovideo.com, Bestbuy.com, and Amazon.com websites at a price of $149.99. In addition to the Bluetooth wireless speaker, only a USB-C cable is included in the scope of delivery; a power supply unit must be purchased separately.
