The MSI MAG 325CQRF QD gaming monitor released last year has a successor model. The new MAG 325CQRF QD E2 measures 31.5 inches diagonally and has a Rapid VA panel with WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), 180 instead of 170 Hz refresh rate, quantum dot technology, and 1000 R curvature.
The gray change occurs within 0.5 ms instead of 1 ms. The 2K ultrawide QHD model delivers a 3500:1 contrast ratio, a typical brightness of 300 cd/m², and a 10-bit color depth (8 bits + FRC). It covers 141 percent sRGB, 97 percent DCI-P3, and 96 percent Adobe RGB color spaces. It also supports HDR and includes Adaptive Sync technology to prevent tearing.
The interface selection includes two HDMI 2.0b inputs (WQHD at max. 144 Hz ), a DisplayPort 1.4a (WQHD at max. 180 Hz), a USB 2.0 hub, a headphone output, USB-C with DisplayPort alternate mode (WQHD at max. 180 Hz), and 65 watt PD. Other features include Mystic Light, an AI-supported black stabilizer, a smart crosshair overlay, and a firmware update function.
KVM has also been advertised, but this could be a software solution. The screen can be tilted, rotated, and adjusted in height. There is also a blue light filter, a VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), and a flicker-reduced backlight. Thanks to picture-in-picture and picture-by-picture mode, content from several connected devices can be displayed simultaneously.
