God of War will land on PlayStation 4 on April 20 and, to deceive the wait, Sony and Santa Monica Studio have presented an exclusive bundle, and also revealing the technical improvements that the title will have on PlayStation 4 Pro.
Limited Edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle will contain a 1TB storage, inspired by Kratos’ Axe, a Leviathan Gray DualShock 4 wireless controller with insignia, a physical copy of God of War and digital content.
Santa Monica Studio has also unveiled the technical improvements that God of War will have on PlayStation 4 Pro: When played on PS4 Pro with a 4K TV, God of War outputs in a dynamic 4K resolution achieved through a 2160p checkerboard. Players with 1080p HDTVs will also benefit from increased image clarity via supersampling of a higher resolution onto their display, thanks to the game’s built-in supersampling technique. Across all PS4s, God of War also features HDR lighting and a wide color gamut for those with TVs that support HDR.
The new God of War will transport players into an adventure characterized by an engaging story full of suspense and twisted plots, but structurally straightforward without choices or ramifications.
Limited Edition God of War PS4 Pro Bundle has been priced at $399.99 / CDN$ 499.99 and it can be pre-ordered through Amazon store. The bundle will be released on April 20, 2018.
