LG UltraFine OLED Pro Monitor is finally available in the country

LG has announced that the exciting UltraFine OLED Pro Monitor: LG 32EP950-B with 32-inch and the LG 27EP950 OLED PC monitor with 27-inch 4K UHD panel is finally available in the country. The price of the new OLED gaming monitor is quite a bit lower than expected for a 27-inch model, but the large OLED display is still not cheap.

LG UltraFine OLED Gaming Monitor

LG UltaFine OLED Pro Monitor with a diagonal of 32 inches (32EP950-B) was already listed on various online websites such as Bhphotovideo.com, Adorama.com, and Bestbuy.com for a recommended retail price of $3,999. Meanwhile, the 27-inch LG OLED monitor is only listed on the Bhphotovideo.com website for $2,999. Both LG OLED gaming monitor models are not yet in stock at any dealer, but that should change in the next few days.

As the name of the two LG gaming monitors suggests, the highlight of the equipment is the OLED panel, which enables perfect black and thus a significantly higher contrast ratio. Both the Adobe RGB and the DCI-P3 color space can be displayed up to 99 percent.

The LG OLED monitor models are best suited for not particularly bright rooms, because SD content can only be displayed with a brightness of up to 250 nits, with HDR content a peak brightness of 540 nits is possible, which makes the monitors suitable for the VESA Qualify DisplayHDR 400 True Black Certification. LG specifies a response time of just one millisecond.

The LG UltraFine OLED Pro 32EP950 offers a USB-C port that can charge a connected notebook with up to 90 watts. Alternatively, there is also one HDMI and two DisplayPort 1.4. The stand is height-adjustable and the monitor is compatible with VESA wall brackets and stands.

The LG UltraFine OLED Pro 27EP950 has a resolution of 3,840x 2,160 pixels, covers 99 percent of the DCI-P3 color space, and be certified according to DisplayHDR 400 with True Black. A model from the Japanese manufacturer JOLED is apparently used as the panel. Since the 27EP950 will also target creative people, its refresh rate is presumably 60 Hz. It is also assumed that it has two display port connections, one HDMI (unknown type), three USB 3.0 type A, Type C, and audio out.
