LG has officially introduced the Transparent OLED Signage at ISE 2019. This series is characterized by a design called “Open Frame”, a feature that allows you to create composite structures capable of exploiting transparency to achieve various effects.
LG itself defines the scope of use: these are screens developed for shops or exhibition spaces. The products to be displayed are placed behind the displays, while videos and images flow on the screen.
Roberto Gambarato, ID sales director of LG Electronics said: “The ISE frame represents the ideal context in which to present our products, equipped with the most innovative and advanced technologies. Thanks to our technological solutions, which adapt flexibly to all business needs, we are able to offer our partners a new way to communicate with their customers, effective and with high added value”.
Another innovation shown by LG is the 130-inch LED screen of the LAA series. The technical characteristics speak of a “pixel pitch” (commonly called “the pitch”, ie the distance between the pixels) of 1.5 mm. The display is designed for meeting rooms and integrates an audio system, useful to allow you to communicate and share images without the need to resort to external speakers. The screen is compatible with Crestron control systems.
