According to a Verizon, they recently added a new entry-level Flip phone called LG Terra from the South Korean company.
The LG Terra flip phone with numeric keypad and a Photo ID technology. Reportedly, the device comes with a global network SIM that lets you call and text message in more than 200 countries while users are outside of the US. This is a low-end device with sleek and compact design, which is very easy to handle with one hand.
The LG Terra Flip phone support CDMA 1x (Dual, 800MHz/1900MHz) in the US, including GSM, GPRS and EDGE options. It features a 2.4-inch TFT LCD display with QVGA resolution, while the internal display of 1.77-inches with a QQVGA resolution. This LG Flip Phone is sports a 1.3-megapixel camera and 950mAh battery which can deliver up to 15 days Standby time and up to 6 hours of Talk time.
However, it’s not clear if the LG Terra will combine a touch screen with the physical keypad, or abandon touch-based input completely. The LG Terra price $96, or $4 per month and $0.99 (contract) with a Verizon payment plan.
