LG Ray with 3000mAh Battery and 13MP Camera Launched

LG Ray, a new mid-range smartphone towards some emerging markets has been officially launched in Latin America, including the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS). At the moment, not any information about the price and release date for other region. LG Ray will be available in three main colors such as Silver, Gold, and Titan Black, in which the Gold and Titan Black variants will be arriving in January next year. LG Ray has specific design of the high-end smartphone from Korean manufacturer in recent years. In this particular device, the back and a front section with metal design quite luxurious with a removable back cover includes “best-in-class features”, the company says.

The back panel of the device remained a familiar rear control button below the primary camera. The handset features a 5.5-inch HD display with 720×1280 pixels resolution that can able to deliver pixel density of 267ppi. It is powered by a 1.4 GHz Octa-core processor along with 1GB of RAM. The LG Ray features a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and 8-megapixel front-facing camera to capture better selfies and video calling. The device runs Android (unspecified) OS, sports single and dual SIM bands and a 3000mAh battery under the hood.

LG directions Ray to the 3G segment, without 4G LTE support. On connectivity front, include HSPA + 21Mbps, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, and MicroUSB 2.0 options.
