LG plans to launch LG G4 Note phablet with 3K screen

Although LG has not yet launched their most advanced product called LG G4, but the rumors of this device have repeatedly appeared in recent times.

According to the Korea Herald, in a meeting at the last Mobile World Congress 2015, CEO Cho Ju-no of LG said his company will launch a very large-screen device even more advanced than the LG G4. Likely LG will launch LG G4 Note to compete directly with the Samsung Galaxy Note and the Apple iPhone 6 Plus. Although not confirmed any additional information, probably it will be a completely new phablet line.

The source also said, LG G4 Note features a 5.5 inch touch screen 3K display with a resolution of 2880 x 1620 pixel, the pixel density up to 600 ppi. This device brings dynamic looks similar to the curved LG Flex lines.

The significant differences on the LG G4 and G4 Note are able to take a picture with the front camera and screen resolution. The LG G4 Note front camera with a resolution of 16-megapixel to take selfie photography experience to a new level. Meanwhile, rear camera with only 5-megapixel. The quality of the rear camera is quite mysterious, some source said that their resolution was mistakenly reversed by the source.

With this configuration parameter, LG G4 Note will mark in the phablet market segment. Manufacturer from Korea ever launched Optimus G Pro in 2013 and most recently the LG G Pro 2 last year. However, sales of these two product lines are lower than many other high-end smartphones from LG.

LG confidently said that LG G4 Phone and G4 Note will help it regain their No. 3 position in the global smartphone sales. LG expects sales of LG G4 will hit 10 million units this year, more than LG G3 were sold 7 million units last year.
