LG introduced new X-Series Range: LG X Screen with Secondary Display and LG X Cam with Dual Rear Camera

LG has suddenly introduced two new affordable smartphones in its completely new X-Series line up named LG X Cam and X Screen. True to its name, both the products will have different configurations. Both the devices will be unveiled at the February 22 event and will be available for purchase in Asia, Europe and Latin America starting from next month. As of now, pricing of the new LG X-Series yet to be revealed.Commenting on the launch, Mr. Juno Cho, president and CEO of LG Electronics Mobile Communications Company said, “Everyone has a favorite smartphone feature, At LG, we think there’s room for devices that do one thing very well and that customers shouldn’t have to pay for features that they don’t want. At the end of the day, we’re committed to offering consumers more choices.”

LG X Cam Specifications:

The LG X Cam features a 5.20-inch In-Cell display with Full HD 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution. It is powered by a 1.14 GHz Octa-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the X Cam has a dual 13-megapixel and 5-megapixel primary camera on the back with LED flash. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera to capture wide selfies and quality video chatting. The handset runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs a 2520mAh battery under the hood. It measures 147.5 x 73.6 x 5.2mm~6.9mm and weighs 118 grams. It supports Single SIM with 4G LTE connectivity, apart from 4G includes 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack connectivity options.

LG X Screen Specifications:

The LG X Screen features slightly lower 4.93-inch In-Cell display with HD resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels along with 1.76-inch secondary LCD screen with resolution of 520 x 80 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2 GHz Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal memory which is expandable via microSD card slot.

On the camera front, the X Screen flaunts a 13-megapixel autofocus primary camera on the back with LED flash and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video chatting. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS and packs a 2300mAh battery under the hood. It measures 142.6 x 71.8 x 7.1mm, Single SIM with 4G LTE, 3G, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, microUSB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack connectivity options.
