LG has announced pricing and availability for the ProBeam DBU510P 4K projector for home is listed on Amazon in the UK. The LG DBU510P 4K UHD TV projector relies on a laser light source that is expected to last up to 20,000 hours and runs webOS 4.5, among other features.

The ProBeam DBU510P is the more expensive sibling of the ProBeam DBF510P shown separately. The LG DBU510P has a few more tricks up its sleeve compared to the ProBeam DBF510P but in the same 370 x 290 x 155.7mm package. For the record, the ProBeam DBU510P also weighs 9.7 kg.
The new LG laser projector is a 4K DLP laser projector with a lamp life of up to 20,000 hours. Like the ProBeam DBF510P, the ProBeam DBU510P peaks at 5,000 ANSI lumens and only has manual focus. Likewise, the latter offers a contrast ratio of 3,000,000:1 and creates projections from 40 to 300 inches. Additionally, the projector offers 1.6x optical zoom and a throw ratio of 1.30 to 2.08.
However, LG has included automatic vertical keystone correction. Unfortunately, LG has not confirmed the color space coverage of the ProBeam DBU510P, which the ProBeam DBF510P does. Incidentally, the former is expected to consume up to 380W and operates at 26dB(A) when set to Eco mode.
In contrast, LG projector noise rises to 29 dB(A) when the ProBeam DBU510P is used in its normal mode. For interface, the ProBeam DBU510P comes with 2x USB 2.0 Type-A, 2x HDMI, 2x RJ45 Ethernet, 1 x 3.5mm audio jack, and 1x VGA.
