Along with the QNED and NanoCell TVs 2022, LG has also confirmed the availability and pricing of its latest LG A2 OLED 2022 series 4K Ultra HD TV, which was first announced in January at CES 2022.
LG has announced the A2 series OLED LG TV price, and the new LG TV falls into a budget segment. Its starts from $1,296.99, can be pre-ordered on the Bhphotovideo.com and Amazon.co.uk websites. LG TV OLED will start shipping in June.
Bhphoto store is also offering 6-months of NVIDIA GeForce NOW Priority Membership when you buy new LG A2 OLED TV.
LG is still the market leader in OLED televisions, now most of the group’s models have received successors. The LG A2 OLED TV series is available with a diagonal of 48 inches, 55 inches, and 65 inches – the even smaller entry-level model could also be popular as a gaming monitor.
The inexpensive A2 series does without a 120 Hz panel or HDMI 2.1, instead, the entry-level model is primarily intended to offer the usual OLED image quality at the most affordable price possible.
All new LG TV OLED A2 series are delivered with webOS 22 with LG ThinQ Al and intelligent voice recognition, a Smart TV operating system that supports multiple user profiles so that everyone in the household can customize the home screen to suit their own needs.
The LG A2 OLED 2022 series comprises three size classes with 4K OLED displays, 50/60Hz native refresh rate, Cinema HDR (HLG, Dolby Vision, Dolby Vision 10, HDR10 Pro), and several OLED-proprietary features such as Perfect Black, Perfect Color, Infinite Contrast, etc.
The audio department includes two 10W speakers accompanied by several features such as Adaptive Sound Control, Ai Acoustic Tuning, Al Sound Pro with virtual 5.1.2 CH up-mix, Dolby Atmos, Clear Voice Pro, LG Sound Sync, etc.
In the new LG TV 2022 models, users can easily select and switch between game-specific features and display presets directly from the TV’s Game Optimizer menu. They also support NVIDIA GeForce NOW and Google Stadia cloud gaming platforms. No HFR and VRR is supported.
The LG A2 OLED 2022 models are based on the a7 Gen 5 Al Processor 4K with Dynamic Tone Mapping, Al 4K Upscaling Gen 2, Al Brightness Control, Al Genre Selection, Al Picture Pro, Ultra Luminance Pro. The series is equipped with three HDMI 2.0 ports, two USB 2.0 ports, a LAN port, optical audio out, Cl+ 2.0/1.4 slot, satellite in, and antenna RF in or cable/antenna in (market-dependent).
