LG has announced the launch of 34-inch Curved Gaming Monitor called LG 34UC79G, its flagship gaming monitor that targets users who play first-person shooting games for $699. 
The LG 34UC79G monitor has 2560 x 1080 screen panel and comes with AMD’s FreeSync technology. The monitor is HDMI 2.0 compatible, DisplayPort 1.2, which means it offers Ethernet channel, and Audio return channel over the HDMI interface. It supports refresh rates up to 144Hz.
The 34-inch curved gaming monitor features a resolution of 2560 x 1080 pixels. The company also claims that the monitor supports the range of dynamic refresh rates between 50 and 144 Hz, which seems to be a good implementation of AMD’s FreeSync technology. This new LG gaming monitor ‘s fast 5ms (milliseconds) GtG (grey-to-grey) response time enhances gaming experience with smoothly rendered fast-moving action and dramatic transitions without the effects of smearing or ghosting.
It offers a 1000:1 native contrast ratio, brightness of 300 nits, and 178/178 viewing angle capability. The monitor also comes with few Picture Modes including Custom, Reader, Photo, Cinema, Dark Room 1, Dark Room 2, Color Weakness, FPS Game 1, FPS Game 2, RTS Game, and PIP mode as well. 
It features a 2 x USB 3.0, 2 x USB-A receptacles, and 1 x USB 3.0 with fast charging. New LG Curved Gaming Monitors also offers Crosshair feature allowing gamers to enhances firing accuracy in first-person shooter games, and an Advanced Gaming features to quickly optimize monitor settings.
The LG 34UC79G price in USA is about $699 and it is now available for purchase via B&H Photo and Amazon US store.
