LG has announced the UltraGear 32GQ850 1440p 240Hz monitor, a new entry in the UltraGear series of gaming monitors. It has two HDMI ports, a single DisplayPort connection, and three USB 3.0 Type-A ports. LG also includes a height, tilt, and swivel adjustable stand but no speakers.

In addition, LG equips the UltraGear 32GQ850 240Hz gaming monitor with a 31.5-inch Nano IPS panel with an ATW polarizer. It also offers 1ms GtG response times and 98% DCI-P3 color space coverage with AMD FreeSync Premium Pro and NVIDIA G-SYNC compatibility.

However, the UltraGear 32GQ850 adds VESA adaptive synchronization and is DisplayHDR 600 certified. Concretely, the certification means that the new LG 32 inch monitor has 10-bit image processing, 600 nits peak brightness, and real-time contrast ratios with local dimming.

Additionally, the LG 32GQ850 offers a native QHD 2.5K resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. Conversely, the UltraGear 32GQ850 has a 240Hz refresh rate that can be overclocked to 260Hz, which is significantly higher than its UltraGear siblings.
