LG Unveils 27UP650-W 4K Monitor with AMD FreeSync Support

LG will soon begin selling the 27UP650-W 27 inch 4K monitor, made on a 27-inch IPS matrix diagonally: the UHD monitor has a resolution of 3840 × 2160 pixels, which corresponds to the 4K format.

For the new LG 4K monitor, 95 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color space is declared. It talks about HDR10 support and DisplayHDR 400 certification. Horizontal and vertical viewing angles reach up to 178 degrees.

The response time is 5ms (GTG) and the refresh rate is 60Hz. AMD FreeSync technology has been implemented to help improve the smoothness of the gameplay by eliminating the effect of tearing in the frame.

To connect signal sources, there are two HDMI interfaces and a DisplayPort 1.4 connector. The brightness reached 400 cd / m2, and the contrast ratio is 1200: 1.

The Black Stabilizer system has been implemented: it provides sharper contrast, allowing you to see the darkest details of the image. Dynamic Action Sync technology minimizes input lag, allowing you to react faster to your gaming experience.

  1. Is it LFC compatible? (Low Framerate Compensation) This is a subset of FreeSync that enables sync with framerates less than 60. 24fps video will be rendered at 48Hz, for example. Not all FreeSync displays do this.
