LG UltraGear 27GS60QC curved 1000r display with 180Hz and 1 ms

The South Korean electronics leader, LG, is adding a fresh addition to its prestigious UltraGear series: the 27GS60QC gaming monitor. This LG 2K 27-inch monitor showcases a VA panel that offers not only a WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels) but also supports a swift 180Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, it comes with HDR10 support for richer color depth and contrast. Additionally, the monitor features a deep curved 1000r display, designed to deliver an immersive gaming experience.

In addition to 8-bit color depth, the data sheet says you can expect 99 percent sRGB, 300 cd/m² typical brightness, 1 ms fast gray change, and a 3000:1 contrast. FreeSync technology is on board to prevent tearing, but there is no G-Sync-compatible Adaptive Sync – although the screen could still work with GeForce graphics cards without any problems.

The OSD also has features such as a black stabilizer and a crosshair overlay. The interfaces include two HDMI 2.0 inputs, a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone output. 180 Hz is only possible on the DisplayPort, while HDMI is limited to a maximum of 144 Hz. In terms of ergonomics, you have to make do with tilt, VESA mount (100 x 100 mm), blue light filtering, and flicker-reduced backlight.

The LG UltraGear 27GS60QC is available from the Amazon.com online retailer at $237.81. LG 2K 27-inch monitor also offers an auto input switch and a mode for people with color vision deficiency.
