Lenovo Z5 has been officially launched in China. It is mid-range device comes with a 6.2-inch 19:9 display with a notch, 6GB RAM, Dual Rear Cameras and fingerprint sensor from the Lenovo being launched today. It is the company’s first smartphone with Notch display in the ‘Z series’ lineup.
Lenovo Z5 Price and Availability
The Lenovo Z5 price in China starts from CNY 1,299 – approximately $202 for the 64GB storage model in Black color, CNY 1,399 – approximately $218 for the Indigo Blue and Aurora color variants with same storage and the 128GB storage version costs CNY 1,799 – approximately $280. It will be available for order in China today and goes on sale in China from June 12, 2018.
Lenovo Z5 Specifications
The Lenovo Z5 features a 6.2-inch 2.5D curved glass display with Full HD+ (2246 × 1080 pixels) resolution, 19:9 aspect ratio, 500 nits brightness, DCI-P3 color gamut, 1500:1 contrast ratio, and Corning Gorilla Glass Protection. It comes with a glass back cover with anti-fingerprint coating and 6 Series aluminum metal frame. It is powered by a 1.8 GHz octa-core processor which supported by Snapdragon 636 14nm Mobile Platform with Adreno 509 GPU and 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB / 128GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 256GB.
On the camera front, the Z5 flaunts a dual rear camera setup: a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF along with an 8-megapixel secondary rear camera to capture depth information in portrait shots with AI support. For selfie, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI beautification and face unlock.
The Lenovo Z5 also a rear fingerprint sensor and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo with ZUI 3.9, which is also upgradable to ZUI 4.0 and Android P. It packs a 3300mAh battery with support for 15W fast charging. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby. For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth 5, and USB C. The device measures 153 x 75.65 x 7.85mm and weighs 165 grams.
