Lenovo updated its tablet lineup by announcing two new tablets including Tab 7 and Tab 7 Essential in the United States. Both the Lenovo tablets are characterized by low-end technical specifications, suitable for both kids and adults. It features 4G LTE, stereo speakers, and Dolby Atmos. Both Lenovo Tab 7 and Tab 7 Essential tablets also claimed to offer up to 15-20 hours of battery life, and run on Android 7.0 Nougat out-of-the-box.

Lenovo Tab 7 features a 7-inch HD (720 x 1280 pixels) resolution display and is powered by 1.30GHz quad-core processor that’s fueled by 64-bit MediaTek MT8161 chipset clubbed with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs 1GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of native storage with microSD card slot up to 128GB.
On the camera front, there is a 5-megapixel rear camera and 2-megapixel front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The Lenovo Tab 7 ‘s battery is claimed to provide up to 15 hours of standard usage time.
The tablet runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box. For connectivity includes Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.0, micro USB 2.0, USB OTG, and 3.5 mm audio jack options.

Coming to more budgetary, the Lenovo Tab 7 Essential features a 7-inch IPS display with 600 x 1024 pixels resolution and is powered by 1.30GHz quad-core processor that’s backed by 64-bit MediaTek MT8167D SoC paired with Mali-T720 GPU. It packs 1GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 16GB of native storage with microSD card slot up to 128GB.
For optics, there is a 2-megapixel rear and front-facing camera for selfie and video calling. The Lenovo Tab 7 Essential battery life is rated to deliver up to 20 hours of regular usage time.
