Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 2022 now available with Ryzen 6000 H, Nvidia RTX 3070 Ti options

Lenovo announced the Legion 5 Pro upgraded gaming laptop at CES 2022. These are Intel Alder Lake-H, and AMD Ryzen 6000H based Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 2022 models. The new Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16 laptop offer configuration options of up to 32GB of DDR5-4800 RAM and the RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU, as well as high refresh rate Dolby Vision, certified displays.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 2022 line is available in both Intel and AMD versions and once again features technologies such as the Lenovo ColdFront 4.0 cooling system, performance tuning of the Lenovo Vantage system, and the Legion TrueStrike keyboard.

The Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16 steps it up a notch with even higher CPU and screen specs than the Legion 5 laptop series. Once again, we are treated to the two Intel Alder Lake-H (Legion 5i Pro) variants and AMD Ryzen 6000H (Legion 5 Pro).

While the Lenovo Legion 5 Pro 16 series features a 16-inch WQHD+ 16:10 240Hz 500-nit panel that is Dolby Vision and Nvidia G-Sync certified. The Legion 5 Pro AMD panel also supports AMD FreeSync Premium in addition to Nvidia G-Sync. It is also VESA DisplayHDR 400 certified.

On the CPU side, the Legion 5i Pro now offers options up to Core i9-12900H, while the Legion 5 features the latest AMD Ryzen 6000H APUs. Both variants can be configured with Nvidia RTX 30 GPUs up to 165W TDP and 1485MHz boost clock, indicating higher power RTX 3070 Ti Laptop GPU.

Both the Intel and AMD variants of the Legion 5 Pro feature largely the same selection of ports – the Legion 5 Pro AMD doesn’t have Thunderbolt 4, so Lenovo offers an additional USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-C with a DisplayPort 1.4 output at the place. These laptops are powered by an 80 Whr cell with super-fast charging support, which Lenovo claims can go from 0 to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.

The AMD Legion 5 Pro is now available to buy from the Amazon.com, and Bhphotovideo.com websites, starting at $1,499.99.
