Lenovo launches ThinkVision P32u Monitor With 4K and Thunderbolt 3

Lenovo is still in the spotlight ahead of CES 2018, and after announcing Tablet 10 as well as the new ThinkPad lineup, it also unveils the new ThinkVision P32u professional monitor.

The Lenovo ThinkVision P32u monitor uses a 32-inch IPS panel with UHD (3840×2160 pixels) resolution; the maximum brightness is 300 nits while the native contrast is 1000:1 with response time up to 16ms. The viewing angles are the classic ones of the IPS panels – 178°/178° horizontal/vertical, while the maximum refresh rate that can be set at 60 Hz.

Turning to color gamut, the new Lenovo monitor offers 99.5 percent AdobeRGB coverage with 100 percent sRGB and also support “multi-color space capability” feature. However, it’s not clear right now whether that capability means that the monitor can display content in different color spaces simultaneously side-by-side in PBP/PiP modes (like some other professional displays), or whether it means something else entirely.
