Lenovo K8 Note has been officially launched in India and this is one of the first smartphone with the dual rear camera setup from the Lenovo being launched today. Lenovo K8 Note price in India is set to Rs. 12,999 – approximately $203 for 3GB RAM + 32GB storage version and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage version will cost Rs. 13,999 – approximately $220. The device will be available exclusively via Amazon India from 12 pm IST, August 18 in Fine Gold and Venom Black color options.
Lenovo K8 Note Specifications
The Lenovo K8 Note features a 5.5-inch IPS display with Full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) resolution and the screen is protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass. The device has a metal (5000-series aluminum) and polycarbonate body, and splash-resistant with water-repellent nano-coating.
The handset is powered by a deca-core MediaTek MT6797 SoC with four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.4GHz, four Cortex-A53 cores clocked at 1.85GHz, and two Cortex-A72 cores clocked at 2.3GHz. It packs a 3GB or 4GB of RAM and 32GB or 64GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded via microSD card up to 128GB.
On the camera front, the K8 Note flaunts a dual rear camera setup, including 13-megapixel main autofocus sensor and secondary 5-megapixel sensor to capture depth-of-field effects like Bokeh. There is a dual-LED CCT flash module on the back panel. For selfie, it has a 13-megapixel front-facing camera with front LED flash to capture bright self-portraits and quality video calling. The device also comes equipped with a rear fingerprint sensor to unlock the device quickly and it also sports Dolby Atmos for improved audio performance.
The handset runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box. It packs a 4000mAh battery with rapid charging support and also packed 15W rapid charger in the box. The company touted the battery is claimed to deliver talk time up to 24.7 hours and standby time up to 378 hours. It supports dual SIM slot with dual standby, For connectivity includes 4G VoLTE, 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n/ac, GPS, A-GPS, Bluetooth 4.1, micro USB 2.0 and 3.5 mm audio jack options. It measures 154.5 x 75.9 x 8.5 mm and weighs 180 grams.
