Lenovo G24e-20 Gaming Monitor with VA panel, AMD FreeSync Premium, and 1 ms MPRT

Lenovo has launched the G24e-20 portable gaming monitor featuring a VA panel and FHD resolution with a 100 Hz native refresh rate. Lenovo 24 inch monitor offers 1ms MPRT and is also FreeSync Premium compatible.

Lenovo 24 inch monitor G24e-20 has FHD resolution and feature a VA panel. While the VA panel allows for deeper blacks and a higher 3000:1 native contrast ratio, the FHD resolution seems somewhat lower in 2022. The refresh rate offered is 100 Hz, which is overclockable to 120 Hz. The brightness goes up to 300 cd/m2, which should be just about sufficient for indoor use.

Lenovo’s 100 Hz monitor G24e-20 offers a 1 ms MPRT. However, the catch here is that enabling MPRT will disable AMD FreeSync. Also, a Radeon graphics card is needed for the FreeSync Premium features to work.

The VA monitor has limited connectivity features with just one HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.2, and a 3.5 mm audio out. The 100 Hz monitor offers 95% sRGB coverage and 8-bit color reproduction. Lenovo Artery offers several ways of monitor control including Game Mode, Timer, Desktop Partition, Multi-screen settings sync, and more.

Price and availability

Lenovo G24e-20 VA monitor is now available on the Amazon.co.uk website for £214.90.
