Panasonic officially announced the Leica DG Vario-Summilux 10-25mm F1.7 ASPH M 4/3 lens. Recently, a lot of unverified information has been published about the lens, both from insiders and from various online stores.

The full-range F1.7 ASPH. high-speed aperture provides beautiful bokeh and high descriptiveness and covering a focusing distance from wide-angle to standard zoom range.

This lens functions as multiple fixed-focal-length lenses, providing the same or higher level of descriptiveness than a fixed focal-length lens can offer. Panasonic claims that the lens has extremely high optical performance and is suitable not only for photography but also for video.
