The Lenovo Legion R27q-30, released last year, now has a successor called the Legion R27qe, which shares similar key specifications. Once again, it is a 27-inch model with IPS technology, WQHD resolution (2560 x 1440 pixels), 180 Hz refresh rate, and DisplayHDR 400. The new 1440p resolution monitor also has ClearMR 6000 certification.
The brightness has been increased from 400 to 450 cd/m². It still offers 10-bit color depth (8-bit + FRC), a 1 ms gray-to-gray response time, 99% sRGB, 90% DCI-P3, and a 1000:1 contrast ratio. FreeSync is included to prevent screen tearing, though it no longer qualifies for premium certification due to updated AMD FreeSync standards.
Although the Lenovo Legion R27qe includes two 3-watt speakers, the specifications for its successor do not mention any. However, this doesn’t necessarily mean they are absent.
The interface selection includes two HDMI 2.1 inputs (TMDS), a DisplayPort 1.4, and a headphone output. WQHD should work at 180 Hz on all graphic signal connections.
Lenovo provides strong ergonomics with tilt, rotation, height adjustment, pivot, VESA mount (100×100 mm), blue light filtering, and a flicker-free backlight.
The Lenovo R27qe, which weighs 4.3 kg without a stand, typically consumes 22 watts in operation, making it (at least on paper) significantly more economical than its 2023 predecessor (30 watts).
