Leagoo M5 Edge With 5-inch Edgeless Display, 13MP Camera and Fingerprint Sensor

Leagoo Chinese handset maker recently unveiled the M5 Edge smartphone with Edgeless display, metal design, and fingerprint sensor. The big highlights of the device are its 3D Edgeless display technology, 13MP camera with nine shooting modes, 4G LTE, fingerprint scanner at the back of the smartphone and its affordable price. The Leagoo M5 Edge price is $99.99 but is available at $79.99 with free earphones and protective case. The smartphone is available to buy at Aliexpress store in Black and Gold colors.

Leagoo M5 Edge Specifications

The Leagoo M5 Edge has a sleek metal unibody with no home button in the front and on-screen navigation buttons. The fingerprint scanner sits at the back right below the camera sensor, while the 3.5mm audio jack is seen at the top edge of the smartphone. The volume and the power keys are both housed at the right edge of the device.

As for specifications, the Leagoo M5 Edge runs on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and supports a dual SIM slot. It sports a 5.0-inch On-Cell display with 2.5D glass protection and HD (720×1280 pixels) resolutions. It has just 2mm ultra thin bezel, 80 percent screen-to-body-ratio, 178 wide view angle and 1000:1 aspect ratio. It is powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The smartphone offers 16GB of internal storage as well with the option to expand further via microSD card up to 128GB.

In the camera department, the Leagoo M5 Edge sports a 13-megapixel rear autofocus camera with f/2.0 aperture, 4P lens, 75-degree view angle and LED flash support. At the front, there is an 8-megapixel sensor for selfies with f/2.4 aperture, 3P lens, 77.9-degree wide angle lens and 9 shooting modes to capture stunning images. As mentioned, there is also a fingerprint scanner on the rear and packs a 2000mAh battery. For connectivity options include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS, A-GPS , and a Micro-USB port.
