The HARMAN company presented a new JBL BassPro Go Bluetooth Speaker Subwoofer. The peculiarity of the JBL speakers wireless is that they can be used not only in the car but also as an autonomous mobile audio system.
When using the JBL BassPro Go in a car, it is enough to connect it to a standard 12-volt power source. Power is allowed both from the battery terminals and from the cigarette lighter socket. The output signal should be fed to the RCA acoustics inputs. For maximum ease of installation, all wires are wound into one quick-detachable connector, and for secure fixation of the device, a convenient docking station is provided in the form of a platform with latches.
JBL’s patented low-frequency enhancement technologies have enabled JBL to deliver powerful low frequencies with 99dB SPL, equivalent to a classic 8” subwoofer. The built-in 100W Class D amplifier works in tandem with the built-in DSP processor, which supports all the settings familiar to subwoofers: crossover cutoff frequency, gain, input power, and phase control. For the convenience of the driver, a discrete bass level control is also included in the package, which can be placed anywhere in the cabin.
The JBL BassPro Go portable Bluetooth speaker can also be used independently as a portable 70W speaker. In this case, two wide-range 40mm tweeters are connected to the 120mm woofer and passive radiator.
The built-in battery is rated for eight hours of continuous use. Also, the JBL speakers wireless can be used as a portable battery for charging mobile gadgets from USB. The Bluetooth speaker subwoofer case is protected from moisture according to the IPX5 standard.
The JBL BassPro Go Portable Bluetooth Speaker Subwoofer has a suggested retail price of $549.95 and it can be purchased via the Amazon.com website.
