Acer is now offering a new convertible Intel Chromebook touchscreen. The small Acer Chromebook Spin 312 is a new convertible. Users can swivel the keyboard behind the display, enabling the use of its touchscreen with Gorilla Glass. It uses an Intel processor.

The Chromebook Spin 312 is a notebook with a hinge and a large opening angle. The device can be set up like a tent, for example. Manufacturers logically install a touchscreen for practical use. The display measures 12.2 inches diagonally and offers a refresh rate of 60 Hz. The resolution is specified as 1,920 x 1,200 pixels, corresponding to a Full HD standard (WUXGA) with a slightly wider width.
Acer uses the Intel Core i3-N305. The processor has eight processing cores, and the maximum turbo clock frequency is 3.8 GHz. The system includes 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM and 128GB of flash memory. These values are relatively small compared to other notebooks. However, Chromebooks like the Acer Chromebook Spin 312 focus on web-based applications and simpler workloads such as word processing or educational use. ChromeOS allows straightforward configuration and offers enhanced security as a key feature.
The manufacturer advertises a battery life of up to 13 hours and supports charging with up to 65 watts. As usual and very practical, there is no dedicated charging plug; instead, users charge the device via USB Type-C. USB Type A, HDMI 1.4, and a jack socket are also available.
