The Chinese action cameras manufacturer Insta360 has announced a compact sports action camera called Insta360 GO, which has a built-in stabilization system and weighs only 18.3 grams.
The new Insta360 GO action cam weighs only 18.3 grams. It has only one button that serves to start and stop recording. The actioncam is equipped with Insta360 FlowState stabilization, known for its Insta360 One X models. It also comes with a custom Quick-Charge case which features an 800mAh battery plus Lightning and micro-USB connectors.
The resolution of the matrix is 3040 × 3040 pixels, but the GO application exports video in 1080p resolution. In this case, slow motion is possible at 100 frames per second with a resolution of 1600 × 900 pixels. The camera can also take photos, slow motion and accelerated video.
Insta360 GO is IPX4 waterproof. Thus, the camera can withstand splashes, rain, and immersion in shallow water for up to 10 seconds. The camera comes with a free iOS/Android app which can be used for various remote functions as well as intuitive auto-editing of your video recordings.
