Dell’s first 16-inch laptop – Inspiron 16 Plus is designed for content creators and features a stunning 3K 16:10 display, Tiger Lake-H i7 processors, RTX 3060 dGPU, up to 32GB DDR4-3200 RAM, up to 2TB of NVMe SSD storage, and a Thunderbolt 4 connector.
The new Dell Inspiron 16 Plus is aimed at content creators and offers powerful features including the new Intel Tiger Lake-H processor combined with Nvidia’s Ampere mobile processors, high-quality displays, and a rugged thermal system.
Content creators can now take advantage of the latest 16-inch 3K (3072 x 1920) displays in a 16:10 aspect ratio, which increases the active screen area by 11% while increasing the device size by only 5% compared to the previous generation of 15 inches. The high-quality panels offer 10-bit color depth, 1000: 1 contrast ratio, 100% sRGB color coverage, and 300 nit brightness.
Dell doesn’t specify the exact processor options, but we can safely assume that at least the Tiger Lake-H i7 will be included. Regarding the rugged cooling system and superior dGPU options, Dell mentions that configurations with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 have 3 fans and 5 heat pipes, while all other configurations use 2 fans and 3 heat pipes. All configurations have 4 vents.
RAM capacities are up to 32GB DDR4-3200 and can be easily upgraded with the dual-slot feature. There is only one M.2 PCIe NVMe slot that supports SSDs up to 2TB capacity. Port selection includes 1x Thunderbolt 4 and 2 USB-A 3.2 Gen 1 connectors, one output HDMI 2.0b video, SD card reader, and combo audio jack. Other features include Wi-Fi 6 connectivity, optional fingerprint reader, HD webcam with shutter slider, lid open sensor, adaptive thermals, and 56 or 86 Wh battery options with ExpressCharge function.

The new Inspiron 16 Plus Dell laptop computer pricing starts from $929 and can be purchased via the Amazon.com online retailer.
Recently, Dell has also made available the new 17 inch XPS 17 touchscreen laptop with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 laptop GPU, a 17-inch FHD + IPS display or 4K UHD + IPS panel, DisplayHDR400, 64 GB DDR4 or 4 TB PCIe 4×4 SSDs, and is priced at $1,949.99.
