Loud music is bad for the ears – this is especially true for children. imoo has now introduced a new Ear-Care Bluetooth headset with mic that enables children to listen to music without endangering their hearing through excessive levels. The headphones for kids are designed to withstand the stresses and strains of everyday life as a child.
According to Imoo of the World Health Organization (WHO) recommends that children only listen to a volume of up to 85 dB music, so the new kids wireless headphones can care content only play up to this volume. The volume can also be limited with regular earphones, so imoo goes one step further to protect the hearing of children.
Because the Ear-care headphones for girls are based on an open-ear design, which should prevent children from feeling like they are wearing earphones. This enables children to perceive their surroundings even while music is being played, while the sound is supposed to be less of a burden on their hearing. Just like many true wireless earbuds, the Ear-care headset with mic also relies on infrared sensors that detect when the headset is removed in order to automatically pause playback and continue when the headset is put on.
The connection to a smartphone is via Bluetooth 5.0, the manufacturer does not provide any information about the supported codecs, but this Bluetooth headset with microphone does not claim to offer hi-fi quality either. The battery holds enough power for eight hours of playback on one charge, and the IP54 certification promises protection against dust and water splashes.
