IK Multimedia launches iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio/MIDI Interface at NAMM 2020

IK Multimedia, known and feared for its sprawling product names, is showing the iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio / MIDI Interface at NAMM 2020. Anyone who knows IK Multimedia also knows the iRig series celebrating its 10th anniversary.

IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio/MIDI Interface

The IKMultimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O is a popular mobile audio / MIDI interface, which can also be operated on iOS and Android devices. With the IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel device is now also available in more extensive equipment.

Connected with USB-C, the iRig Pro Duo I/O enables through its two combo sockets (XLR and TRS) to record microphone signals (also with phantom power), line and instrument signals. The gain of the two Class A preamps can be set individually, and the loading can also be done with different signal types. For example with a Hi-Z signal from a guitar and the microphone signal from the microphone in front of the speaker. A sensible, latency-free monitoring option and a headphone out are necessary and included. Of course, the IK Multimedia iRig Pro I/O also has a practical MIDI I/O.

The iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel is operated either by USB power, optional power supply or with a pair of AA batteries. It features two XLR-1/4″ combo inputs for connecting microphones or instruments, selectable 48V phantom power, and the ability to accommodate your favorite MIDI equipment such as a keyboard, synth, or drum machine.

The 1/4″ monitor outputs and 3.5mm headphone output have independent level controls for optimal monitoring through speakers and headphones. A switch on the right side of the device allows you to listen to the direct input signal without latency or the processed return signal from your device.

Price and Availability

The IK Multimedia iRig Pro Duo I/O 2-Channel Audio/MIDI Interface is now available to pre-order through Bhphotovideo.com and should be available by the end of January 2020. The price is stated at $199.99, and over $500 worth of software and apps included.
